HIGH PLACES

after she read Hannah Hurnard’s book
‘Hinds’ Feet On High Places’.

God’s presence shone through the
beautiful spirit of the deer in the centre
who looked up as Alison took the photo.
Recorded in 1989.Re-recorded January 31st 1991
at TLC Studio (Bayswater) with Andy Sorenson’s
expertise at the desk and controls.
Ric Wong’s guitar lead break here is ultra smooth.
Alison’s vocals were recorded
at Andy’s studio.
That night, as Alison entered the property,
she was greeted by 2 big eyes staring at her
in the dark. When Andy turned the light
on she was surprised to see a cow.
As she hit the high note in the middle section
(‘…let nothing set you apart’),
a rooster ‘cock-a-doodle doo’d’.
The vocal take was quite special,
hence kept.
