When I composed this song
I imagined many people singing and
playing this for Oprah as a surprise,
perhaps on one of her birthdays.
In 2023 on Oprah's 69th Birthday
I am making it possible for all
to hear this song and to consider
performing/recording it in the future.
I hope Oprah enjoys the day
this song is performed to her.
When I recorded the vocal
I was suffering ongoing back
and injury/condition issues
so it is not as good as I had hoped
to do for Oprah, even as a demo
for others to hear, but it says
what I wanted us all to say to her;
those of us who have appreciated
her throughout the years.
Thank you to Oprah's friends
and any artists, musos etc
and authorities for considering
listening to the song and more.
